I’ve been
where you are.
I found my way.
The best approach isn’t the most extreme.
It’s the one you can keep coming back to.
I’m Bron. A personal trainer, a Sports Science graduate—and someone who had to learn that lesson the hard way.

BRON ONG / THE PERSON BEHIND FLFL
Being active didn’t mean
I felt good in my skin.
I’d been overweight for much of my life, even while playing competitive sport. At 21, my confidence was low, and a diagnosis of hypertension made me take my health seriously.
I decided to change. I learnt what I could online, trained almost every day and tracked everything I ate. I lost 15kg from my heaviest point.

SPORT WAS ALWAYS PART OF MY LIFE.
I got results.
But I couldn’t keep going.
Every missed workout or calorie target felt like failure. Sometimes I’d let one missed session turn into a whole week. Other times I’d try to make up for it with extra cardio or more food restriction.
I couldn’t enjoy meals or time with people I loved. Fitness was taking over my life. Eventually, I burned out and regained the weight I’d lost, plus another 3kg.
My confidence fell again. I knew that if I tried another time, something about the approach had to change.

Less all-or-nothing.
More life.
This time, I focused on finding the minimum effective approach. I wanted to look better, feel better and move better—not become a bodybuilder or make fitness my second career.
I started enjoying training and nutrition again, while still spending time with my loved ones. The goal became consistency, not a perfect week.
That’s what I now help my clients find: their own minimum effective approach, built around their lives.

A LIFE WITH ROOM FOR MORE THAN FITNESS.
The change you see.
The habits behind it.
This is my personal transformation. The lasting change came from learning how to train and eat consistently, without taking everything to the extreme.
